A big thank you to everyone who supported the fete. It was a great success!

YES Milcombe Lives! – you came from near and far to enjoy a brilliant day and evening of fun and entertainment. All ages had a great day and raised a massive £2700 (approximately) which will be used to put towards next year’s fete.

On September 18th, we had a very successful medium evening in th e village hall with a full house! Mark Wilson gave some excellent messages to people and there was a great atmosphere with people enjoying beverages and buying raffle tickets. It was so lovely to see the community come together yet again for such an enjoyable event. We raised £256 in profit which will be going towards maintenance and other expenses that the village hall need to pay for.

The event sold out and proved very popular so we have decided that we will be putting on a similar event in the New Year. Keep a look out on the ‘Milcombe Community’ fb page, Milcombe website and newsletter for the date.

We have lots of exciting plans in place and are also looking at ways to fundraise and obtain grants for improvements to the village park.

If you have any ideas that you would like to contribute, please get in touch if you want to join us in planning social events and 2018 Village Fete

Please contact us.

We want the community to get involved with Milcombe Fete so we will continue to run events in the village.

We will also advertise through the village website and various others sources.

Remember that all this effort is to ensure that village facilities, such as the Church and Village Hall, are here for future generations so any help we can all give will be appreciated by the new committee.
